International Diplomacy Students Experience Commitment In Action

One activity that each NSLC program does, regardless of its primary topic, is Commitment In Action. #NSLCINTL students learned firsthand what it means to really commit to an action – by way of dancing down a makeshift runway. After this activity, students wrote down three commitments they have for the rest of the summer.

International Diplomacy in NYC, Day 2

#NSLCINTL students were briefed today on the various aspects of terrorism and how the United Nations is working towards addressing these various aspects through CTED, the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate. Students also toured the United Nations building to learn how the different departments work.

International Diplomacy in NYC, Day 1

#NSLCINTL students are taking a break from Washington D.C. to visit the Big Apple! During their two-day excursion, the students are visiting fun sites such as the Statue of Liberty and Times Square, and will also have the chance to tour the United Nations building and sit in on a private talk from a UN representative.
