After spending the week using all of the skills they have learned, students argued their cases in the mock trial, meant to imitate a realistic court case. Students went to the DC Supreme Courthouse where they held a trial with facts given to a students in case pockets. Both defense and prosecution made opening and closing statements, called and questioned witnesses, and argued their points using techniques learned throughout the session.
