Today, the students split into groups while visiting the Department of Interior. The groups had the opportunity to hear from Kelly Kim, the Human Capital Communications Analyst for the department. She spoke to the students regarding the department’s mission statement, job opportunities with the Interior, and the daily life of a government employee. The students also toured the building, learning about the large, detailed murals that cover the DOI’s walls. The field trip concluded with a quick look at the Department of Interior’s museum before heading back to campus.
