Today, the ARCH students took a trip to the School of Art, Design, and Art History at James Madison University. Architecture staff gave a tour of their facilities and told students more about the benefits of an architecture degree. JMU offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts for their architecture program, which places an emphasis on the art aspect of designing buildings. Students toured both the studio and workshop, getting the chance to see various physical models and designs made by JMU students. Despite the rainy weather, the students enjoyed their trip to Virginia!
