It’s on! Students from LINT participated in an argumentation activity based on prompts from their TAs. They participated in a series of 1v1s, 2v2s, and TA group vs. TA group to argue which side of the prompt(s) was better in their opinions. For example, they were given the prompt: Summer vs. Winter, and the two opposing parties would argue why they believed their side was better. At the end of each argument, the students who were not participating in the argument would take a vote on what they believe is a better choice based on the arguments they were presented.
