Students from International Diplomacy participated in a Model UN activity called, “Security Council Simulation”. The students were all divided into a specific room with a unique worldwide issue. They were assigned to different countries within the UN to model the overall council and tasked to work together to come up with ideas to help rectify the situation. They created different proposals based on the issues, and in the end, the students would vote for, reject, or abstain from the proposals.
