The Global Corporation Simulation Press Conference is either after the “fiscal year” or after four meetings of the management team have been completed. The TA groups make decisions over the four quarters leading up to the press asking them questions about why they made the decisions, how they think it’ll change the trajectory of their company, and what challenges they faced to get there. Each company encounters a breaking news story about their company and must respond to at-the-moment conflicts. The students must think on their feet and respond to the press’ questions with no warning or preparation to do damage control.
