Today, the Law Intensive students got to try their hand at an introduction to Moot Court. With a couple minutes to prepare the details of the trial, they had to cram in as much knowledge as they could for a 5 minute presentation – with the “judges” allowed to interrupt with questions at any point. The speakers were not able to consult their groups, but rather had to trust in their knowledge of the case. This will be the basis of their trial preparations with these last few days here to prepare for a Supreme Court simulation.
