Today, the International Diplomacy students heard from virtual guest speaker Sara Goldschmidt, the Youth and Student Program Manager at Amnesty International USA. Amnesty International is an organization whose goal is to protect the human rights of people all across the globe. Sara Goldschmidt spoke to the students in an interactive way about global human rights, international issues, and the mission and role of Amnesty International. The students got to contribute to the conversation, sharing their own knowledge of what human rights and their protection can look like.
