Throughout the course of the session, the Business and Entrepreneurship students have been working on their product pitch. They were tasks with developing a unique product, and then creating a marketing, financial, and overall business plan. The BUSI students then presented their pitch to a panel of “sharks”, otherwise known as the program staff. The sharks offered deals to the product pitchers, and negotiations over equity, investments, and stake ensued. This project has given students the chance to go through the entire process of pitching a product, and has given them the tools they need to succeed in business and entrepreneurship.
