Today, the students of Sports Management participated in a lively and friendly competition to design a product or service that fits within the area of sports-related products. Within a time limit, they created an idea, a pitch, and the projected financials of their product. They then pitched their idea to a panel of “sharks”, also known as the program staff. Following the pitch, the sharks had an opportunity to invest, and they negotiated deals with the students pitching. This activity allowed the Sports Management students to explore their creativity and innovation all while practicing their business and negotiation skills!
