This evening, the Law and Advocacy students attended their opening ceremony at which they met their program staff and their leadership facilitator. The students got to know each other through a fun icebreaker where they wrote three facts about themselves on a piece of paper, and then tossed the papers around the room. Following this, everyone picked up a paper and read aloud the three facts. This fun twist on a classic icebreakers got the LAWA students on their feet and laughing. They were also introduced the court case they are covering in the mock trial through an reenactment by their Team Advisors.
