Today, the Health & Medicine students of JNSLC were hands on training for the field! They had a nurse come in and teach them all of the CPR training – practicing on dummies and using a fake AED to understand how it works. Then, they flexed their field knowledge on some case scenarios in EMT training. They were given several situations and injuries from “patients” and two at a time, they tried to diagnose the patient and decide on treatment.
